The Yale Student Environmental Coalition is a non-profit, student-run group that has promoted environmental responsibility at Yale for more than 20 years. YSEC's principal goals include educating the Yale community about threats to our environment, networking with other related environmental groups, and advocating for responsible consumer choice and sustainable university policy.

Green Graduates has been a year long project of Yale Climate Campaign and Yale Student Environmental Coalition. Students of all years and a variety of majors have compiled a fifty page guide that gives tips on how to minimize your ecological impact everywhere from in their home to in their office. It is meant to be a quick reference for students once they enter the real world. Yale Climate Campaign has created a printed guide and a digital PDF guide for the seniors and others who have expressed interest. Download the guide here: Green Graduates 2007.

This past Monday, The Yale Climate Campaign project of the Yale Student Environmental Coalition began collecting petitions encouraging President Levin to set long-term goals for Yale's greenhouse gas reductions.

The Yale Student Environmental Coalition would like to welcome freshmen and returning Yalies to campus.

A Brief Description
YSEC runs projects focused on specific issues and goals, including Climate Campaign, the Paper Project, and Environmental Education. In addition, YSEC's member groups are separate groups which run their own projects interrelated with environmentalism at Yale. If your passion is not encompassed in an existing group, YSEC has the resources and time to help you create and organize your own group to realize your environmental goals.

Welcome to the new website of the Yale Student Environmental Coalition. Please bear with us as much of the site is still under construction. This is a site for all students at Yale interested in the environment. Please take a look around, sign up for an account on the Community page, and enjoy the organic neighborhood.
